Childhood life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

He (SAW) was born in Mecca on 12th Rabi-ul-Awal in 570. His father Abdullah died before his birth. Prophet Muhammad’s name was very unique and it was never ever given to someone else before him. He (PBUH) was born as an orphan. Before He (PBUH) was six years old his mother died, and the doubly orphaned Muhammad was put under the charge of his grandfather Abdul Muttalib who took the delicate care of him. His grandfather Abdul Muttalib did his upbringing and he was his guardian due to the death of his father Abdullah. His grandfather died two years afterward. On his deathbed, he confides to his son Abu Talib the custody of the little orphan grandson Muhammad (PBUH). Abu Talib took the charge of his nephew in the best way. He put him with his children and preferred him to them.

Early hood life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

When Muhammad (SAW) was twelve years old, he led with his uncle Abu Talib on a merchandising journey to Syria. It was at Busra that the Christian monk Bahira met Muhammad (PBUH). He is related to have said to Abu Talib: ‘Return with this boy and guard him against the hatred of the Jews, for a great career awaits your nephew.” Abu Talib, acting on his advice, sold all his merchandise for cheaper prices then and there, returning at once to Mecca. Abu Talib remained for forty years cherishing his nephew and extending all possible protection and support to him.

Marriage with Hazrat Khadijah (R.A)

Khadijah, the daughter of Khwailid was a businesswoman of great honor and fortune. She used to employ men to do her business for a certain percentage of the profits. Quraish people were mostly trading’s people, so when Khadijah was informed about Muhammad (PBUH), his truthful words, great honesty and kind manners, she sent for him. She offered him money to go to Syria and do her business, and she would give him a higher rate than the others. When he returned to Mecca, Khadijah noticed, in her money, more profits and blessings than she used to. Her employee also told her of Muhammad’s good manners, honesty, deep thought, sincerity, and faith. Khadijah was very much impressed. Only two months after his return to Mecca, he (PBUH) was married to Khadijah and she comes in the family tree of Muhammad (PBUH). He was twenty-five years of age and Khadijah was forty.

  • Hazrat Abu Bakar (R.A): One of the closest friends of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Abu Bakr was born in Mecca and was two years younger than the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH); his real name was Abdullah Ibn Abi Quhafah. He was the first man to accept Islam. He earned the title

Al-Siddiq (true believing person).  Because of his determined faith in Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

  • Hazrat Umar Ibn Khattab: Al-Farooq was Umar’s (RA) nicknamed. He was twelve years younger than the Prophet (PBUH). Umar (RA) was a strong enemy of Islam before accepting it. Some of the Characteristics of Umar (RA) was his stubbornness and courageous. Umar (RA) is buried beside the Prophet (PBUH) in the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina.
  • Ali Ibn Abi Talib: Ali (RA) was the cousin and son in law of the Prophet (PBUH) and is also known to be the first child to accept Islam. He was the son of the Uncle Abu Talib of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Ali (RA) was married to the favorite daughter of the Prophet (PBUH), Fatima (RA). Besides being known for his braveness he was also known for his humility and incorporeality.
  • Usman Ibn Affan (RA): Usman (RA) was born in Mecca and was six years younger the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He was the fifth person to accept Islam. He isn’t just known for his generosity, he was also known to be modest, charitable and also kind-hearted.
