3 Wonderful Prophecies of Prophet Muhammad SAW

“Say, [O Muhammad], ‘I do not tell you that I have the depositories of Allah nor that I know the unseen, nor do I tell you that I am an angel. I only follow what is revealed to me.’” [al-An‘ām 6: 50]

The following discussion is all about the prophecies of Prophet Muhammad SAW, these were foretold by beloved prophet SAW, the most influential man of the history. The world experienced the truth and the prophecies of Muhammad SAW with bare eyes. Let us add them to you here today.

1. The Byzantines will Rebound

Notwithstanding being confined by apparently unlimited deserts, and to a great extent unaffected by the force battles of the world’s superpowers, the Qur’an strongly anticipated the most surprising occasions that would come to pass among Persia and Byzantium in a couple of brief years. “The Byzantines have been crushed. In the closest land. In any case, they, after their destruction, will triumph. Inside three to nine years.” [ar-Rūm 30: 2-4] From 613-619 CE, the Byzantines were totally wrecked by the Persian Empire, losing the domains of Antioch, at that point Damascus, at that point Armenia, at that point their most treasured Jerusalem, at that point Chalcedon, lastly Egypt.

In his book, The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, Edward Gibbon says, “When this expectation is said to have been conveyed, no prediction could be increasingly far off from its achievement, since the initial twelve years of Heraclius declared the moving toward the disintegration of the empire.”[2] Everyone considered Byzantium to be on its deathbed; in these manner adversaries of the Prophet ﷺ like Ubayy b. Khalaf derided this “ridiculous” foreseeing in the Qur’an. In any case, not long after, Heraclius drove the Byzantine Crusade like a blade into the core of the Persian Empire, satisfying the astonishing prediction 6-8 years after it was expressed.

The sections that quickly follow this expectation state, “The choice of the issue, when [these events], is just with Allah. Furthermore, on that Day, the devotees (i.e., Muslims) will celebrate in the triumph of Allah.” [ar-Rūm 30: 4-5] Abu Ḥayyān al-Andalūsi (d. 1344) records in al-Baḥr al-Muḥīṭ four explanations behind this cheering, of them being that the marvelous prescience unfurling would additionally approve their confidence in His prophethood. Another explanation, which includes another prescience, is simply the Muslims would around then wind up commending their own triumph: a hotly anticipated triumph against the Meccan oppressors in the Battle of Badr occurred in 624 too. It unexpectedly turns out to be very clear why God seals Sūrat ar-Rūm by saying, “So show restraint. To be sure, the guarantee of Allah is truth. What’s more, let them not terrify you who are not sure [in faith].” [ar-Rūm 30: 60]

2. The Abode of Abu Lahab

At the times following the Prophet Muhammad’s ﷺ first open call to Islam, his own uncle, Abu Lahab, laughed at and chastised him. With all due respect, God quickly uncovered: “May the hands of Abu Lahab be destroyed, and demolished is he. His riches won’t benefit him or that which he picked up. He will copy in a Fire of [blazing] fire.” [al-Masad 111: 1-3] It is shocking that for the following nine years of Abu Lahab’s life, in spite of hearing these sections being discussed, his pride despite everything kept him from a potential brilliant chance to dishonor the Qur’an. Had Abu Lahab just affirmed confidence, even guilefully, that could have brought into genuine inquiry reality of this Revelation? Obviously, He Who uncovered this knew Abu Lahab could never do as such.

3. The Globalization of Islam

In the midst of the fiercest oppression and misuse that the Muslims looked in the soonest Meccan period, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ would remain without faltering and pass on to his adherents God’s guarantee of Islam spreading everywhere throughout the world. Tamīm ad-Dāri (RA) reports that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stated,

“This issue will surely arrive at each spot contacted continuously and day. Allah won’t go out of mud or [even] hide with the exception of that Allah will make this religion enter it, by which the goodwill be regarded and the dishonorable will be disrespected. Allah will respect the good with Islam and he will disrespect the dishonorable with unbelief.”

In another portrayal, announced by Thawbān (RA), “Undoubtedly, Allah got together the earth for me so I saw its east and its west; and for sure the territory of my country will arrive at what was gotten together for me from it.”

The way that these expectations were made when Muslims were a feeble bunch, and Islam was relied upon to be covered in its support, is completely inexplicable. By then, assuming that the confidence would even endure would be considered by most out and out an unrealistic fantasy. In any case, to anticipate that Islam would endure, yet develop to flourish all around, was by then unfathomable. For us, these days, seeing a fourth of this current planet’s populace as supporters of Islam clarifies this was no assumption, yet rather another prediction enlivened by the Divine.

Let me add in the end the lines form the glorious Quran, “Say, [O Muhammad], ‘None in the heavens and earth knows the unseen except Allah, and they do not perceive when they will be resurrected.’” [an-Naml 27: 65]

These are the 3 wonders foretold by prophet Muhammad SAW, and a vital proof of His prophethood.

May Allah shower His blessing on Muhammad SAW and His Ummah. Aameen.
